We are a Specialist Homelessness Support Service. Our business relates to supporting young people to gain, maintain and sustain tenancies. We provide 24/7 accommodation, mobile support and independent housing initiatives.

Roofs to Recovery Inc.

Roofs to Recovery Inc. is planning to build a community of transitional housing for older women on the Sunshine Coast. To support this initiative, we are looking for volunteers to help operate R2R Bazaar, which is an op shop in the main street of Caloundra. Profits from the shop will be channeled to the charity.

Independent Regional Advocacy Service Inc. (IRASI) advocates and supports people to uphold their human and legal rights. Taking a person-centred approach, IRASI assists the most vulnerable and marginalised people in the community to make informed decisions about their lives by listening, and providing expert advice in line with legislation.

Q Shelter is a peak body working to influence housing need and homelessness solutions in Queensland at the systemic, policy and structural level. We also work to build capacity of the workforce to respond effectively to housing issues and to implement solutions.

By providing various accommodation options, programs, case management, support, and advocacy we aim to reduce the number of at-risk young people in the region. At Sharehouse we believe every young person can create their own path in life if they are provided the right opportunity and support.
